For me, there isn't really a true ending to this book. The 'ending' was Rose leaving the school to find Dimitri and basically kill him. We were left with so many loose ends. Was Dimitri really turned? Is he still alive? Will Lissa follow Rose? Did Mason tell the truth? Can he help Rose find Dimitri?

Frankly, until you mentioned Eddie, I didn't really think about him. IMO, he's not all THAT major a character.

I agree. Eddie's just seemed to kinda be there in SK. The ending was sad, definitely. Morbid tone, but if you think about it, would the series be good with out heart ache? You have to have drama and OMG moments for it to be good. If it was just easy it wouldn't be fun to read. So, in a way I respect it but I still hope it ends well..

Agreed. I just don't like when I have to wait months to find out what happens next.

True...the series would be dull if there was no drama or "OMG moments". And yes, I would like a happy ending, too. Happy doesn't have to be cliché, just happy.

I don't know how we would be able to have one for the site...but I suppose everyone could make their own "ticker". It's not as fun. But I guess it will do in a pinch.
Now do we have a for real official release date? That would be a plus. I have seen on both Richelle's site and at booksellers' sites that it's August 25. *groan* It would be nice if we could have it sooner.

I am pretty sure it's August 25th, I checked on Amazon when I could buy it and it said I had to wait wait until the 25th....

i liked it to but i dont find it very funny when dimitri makes his first apperance as a fake strigoi and Rose is marveling at his beauty at being the perfect fake strigoi and then it turns out to be true and shes repulsed god thats not the least bit funny i say this because my friend said it was it pisssed me off
