Actually @SecretMagic I have to disagree with you on the bond. We never fully learned anything about Spirit, just the facts. You can heal and bring back the dead. The user can create spirit dreams. And all that other jazz. But, really we have no understanding of it because it isn’t clear cut like the other elements. So, by doing this I feel she is trying to hit two birds with one stone, give Adrian a reason to be in and explain more about Spirit; to clearly define it. Though she could have made it a little more difficult to guess that Adrian and Jill shared a bond. I had my suspicions right after the how she said bye to Adrian in the beginning and the “hangover” thing sealed the deal for me.

But, as much as we want to see him face Dimika and Rose, because we know that is the only way for him to fully move on… I say it isn’t going to happen. Well, at least not anytime soon. If (or more like a matter of when) Sydney and Adrian get together, I think Richelle is going to use that as something to test their relationship. You know make that a catalyst for an argument and lead into him having to finally face it. That or Sydney using it against him because she is scared to go against everything she has ever been taught even though her heart is telling her too. She would use it against him knowing that Adrian is scared of that confrontation and will put off doing anything about it for awhile. But, that is just me and I always think of the most dramatic way for something to be resolved in any book I read.

But, for some reason I am not as interested in know about Sydney trying to explore her witchy powers or why her blood isn’t tasty. I guess because there was a line in the book about how she had owed Abe s thousand favors or something like that, I know a bit of an exaggeration, however I don’t think it was just that one thing with Carly or anything like that. I feel like Sydney has asked Abe for favors more often then we know of and more is going to come out the bag later maybe. (I’m hoping…)

As for Jill and Eddie, this is just going to be cute. Though I feel like Eddie is going to be a bit like Dimika and go all I must focus on my duty. His will power is going to be really tested before anything really happens between the two if at all. Actually come to think of it same goes with Sydney and Adrian. God, there is going to be a lot of teasing in this story isn’t there.

Though does anyone else think Zoe is going to play a big role later on? I feel like she is going to try and prove herself way to much to make her dad proud and get caught up in everything and make the wrong choices that are going to lead up to the downfall of Sydney in some way.

Now on to other mysteries. I have no clue about who was calling Nevermore. I can’t seem work out a theory on that one yet, especially since there is no clues to work with.
