lol Yeah, I totally get that. But I sort of think of it as something to tide me over until the release date. And either way, I'm waiting a few extra days before I actually get the book because I want to buy it when I go to the signing and have it signed by Richelle. Hopefully it won't get spoiled in the four days before the signing...

I guess we'll have to wait for the book to find out about her!

	I'm glad we finally found out who Sydney was, sort of. Now I'm really curious as to what an Alchemist is in this world...obviously somebody who covers things up, but why wouldn't Rose know about them already?

Can't wait for the rest of it. As dimkaluv said, I like having the first chapter and reading it now, it's nice to finally have something new to fule the obsession

I loved the first chapter, but I just kinda feel like "hey, where's the rest of the book at?!" cause I'm kinda hanging now. I pre-ordered the book form Border's, I was going to get the overnight shipping but they want a boo-koo of money so I got the 2-3 day shipping, so its gonna be an extra couples days before I can read it. I'm definately pumped though. I'm definately excited to how things go with Dimka. I mean, seriously, surely he & Rose get back together somehow.

i think reading the first chapter just made things worse! now i want the book so bad.

	I don't remember mention of a Syndey at all from Shadow Kiss...where was she mentioned? And plus, I've always known an alchemist to be someone who turns ordinary things into gold. So many new questions!

I personally loved the new chapter. Al though i had to stay up vary late and was half asleep when i read it but either was it was still awesome .

	And for ballroomdancer13, as far as i know i don't believe that Sydney was not in Shadow Kiss. But didn't Richelle Mead say that Rose meets new people who help her along the way? Well If she did then i think that that is where Sydney comes in.

But overall i want the book to come out so i can just read it.
