So when US people complain about us getting the book first, keep in mind, too, that no matter what book it is, we always have to pay more. It's kind of nice to get a bit of a bonus like that once in a while.

Further, it's not just books for which we pay more. Clothing and cosmetics, electronics, airfare and other items also cost more in addition to coming on our market late, if at all. I like to shop in Buffalo because if I see something I like in a magazine (a dress let's say), I can actually walk into a store and get it. If I go to a store here, chances are very good it's not available.

Yah. Shipping is killer. And yah, I like shopping in Seattle, because theirs way more to choose from. I'm actually surprized that we got the book first, because normally books, and everything to be honest, comes out at least a year later here than everywhere else.

I wouldn't go to the extreme of a year. I think the last Succubus book was out at the same time here as it was in the US. But for some things like cosmetic products (e.g. mascara) it was about 6 months. It was pretty sad.

You're definitely right about the selection of stuff, though. The US always has more selection when I go to Buffalo. And I thought their sales were better, too. Like an ACTUAL discount as opposed to $2 off and calling that a sale.

Oh, I know! Like what is 5% off supposed to do for me? I like that they have real sales in the states.

A book series that I read, The Fire Within, Books come out in England 1 or 2 YEARS before they come out here. My friend who reads that series is lucky, because his Grandparents who live in England send the books to him when they come out there.

Yah, I've noticed that cosmetic products take a while. Like, I saw a commercial for those Nutragina Waves, and I wanted one, but when I went to the store, I couldn't find any. A few months later, however, they were there. When I looked before, they hadn't come out in Canada yet.

Anyways, I'm surprized that us Canadians got BP first, seeing as we usually get everything LAST.
