Some people pre-order the book, Blood Promise, from websites of Barnes & Noble (mostly Barnes and Noble) and Borders or they go to book stores and get the book quickly before they are all gone. I, on the other hand, do the one thing that I always do. I buy my books on the day its released.

Yeah, I know that it's so stupid but there is a Borders in Downtown LA and it is sometimes empty and that is where I got Hunted on the day it was released. I forever thank God that there was no big line when I got it. I was also glad that I was sick when I got it and sat cozy in my bed while reading Hunted and was sipping on some nice sweet cinnamon tea and eating some sweet beard.

Unfortunately, the day that the book is released, it's my second day of my junior year. But I have a plan! Or rather two or three...


Here's the two/three plan:

-PLAN A: After school ends, I head home to go get my wallet with my friend, get on the Metro train with my friend, get out of the train, go quickly to the Macy's Mall, go down the escelator (or at least that's how you spell it) and quickly go to Borders, get Blood Promise and the New Moon poster that I have been dying (DYING!!!!!) to get it with my friend and some books (two or three books) too, go to the Metro Station, go to the store and buy a Coke for me to drink, and go home to go to my room and read this book until it finishes 'til the end and be all impatient for Spirit Bound and Tempted.

-PLAN B: After school, me and my friend go home for me to change clothes, go to the Metro Train quickly, get out of the train, go quickly to the Macy's Mall and down to Borders, go get Blood Promise and the New Moon Poster and some books too (two or three), go to the Metro to go back home, go to the store to buy a Coke, and go home to read the book.

-PLAN C: I go home to change clothes, go to the Metro with my sister to go to Downtown, get out of the train to go to the lower level to Borders, go to Borders to go get Blood Promise and the New Moon poster and some books (about three or two), go to the Metro to go back home, go to the store to buy a Coke, and go home to my room to read Blood Promise!!

Two more weeks 'til Blood Promise!!

Wow, only two more weeks? I can't wait.

Anyway, my plan is simple...I'm going to get it the same day its released. Basically your plan, except I didn't really think about it as much. lol.

I've had Blood Promise pre-ordered for months at my local bookstore, but I might have to wait until the thursday night to start it because of uni. (it comes out on the wednesday here)

I've had it pre-ordered since January, patiently (patiently? who am I kidding! I've probably been the least patient possible for it to come out. I check the computer at Chapters (I live in Canada) every time I go in, hoping, even though I know its totally improbable, that it'll have somehow gotten released early) awating its arrival. My best friend has also had it preordered for months, and we plan to go to the store to pick up our two books that both come out on the 25th (Blood Promise, and Fashionista, a book in a different series) together, then we are going to someone's house, and reading it at exactly the same speed, so that if Dimka DOES die, I pray to God that he doesn't , then we can look at each other, then throw our books at the wall at exactly the same time. We will stay up all night reading if we have to, we will finish it that day. That's my plan.

Vampire_Girl, in Canada its already out. You might want to go pick it up soon. I got my copy on Friday, because I pre-ordered it, so they called me to let me know it came in early.
