So let weigh in on this new mystery Strigoi. It might be a far thing but I think that might be Lissa's Brother.

Now let me give my reasons. Lissa is a blonde right? I remember getting them confused because of the covers, but in the Book it said she was a blonde. Now Richelle made it a point to say a couple of times that the guy was a Blonde. Now if you talking about a Strigoi, why would his hair color matter?

The guy also keeps saying he knew Rose and Lissa. I know Rose knew Lissa's brother, so maybe when they were in the car accident, her brother (Andre was his name right?) was not completely dead in the accident but hurt badly and maybe Strigoi was near and bite him, converting him over. In the book they said that Rose saw him when she was seeing ghost so it won't be possible right?

But what if something happened where he is living in two worlds like Rose, but won't that mean he was shadow kissed. But maybe that girl in the new Book, Sidney? Shadow Kissed him and he than got turned into a Strigoi like Dimitri did?

Also Strigoi aren't dead but their not alive either right? So maybe when they are converted their souls are taken out and there technically dead but alive. This could mean that they live in both the dead world and real world, meaning Rose could see them when she see's ghost. Which is why when they are near , she gets a weird feeling. Right?


I know it's a far strecth but I'm just coming up with ideas. Anyone else got any?

The first time I read the scene where Rose is sparring with the Strigoi, that's what I thought too, because the Strigoi was blond and about Rose's age. So I went trolling through the books to see if I was right, and I don't think it's Andre for these reasons:

-the Strigoi says that he remembers the female blonde Dragomir. However, he doesn't know her name. Now, if he were Andre, he'd definitely know his sister's name. But if everything that happened before he was awakened was a blur, he wouldn't have remembered Lissa's existence at all. So therefore he only knows Lissa by sight, not by name.

-Rose would recognize his face. I mean, she went to school with him since she was little. I'm pretty sure she would recognize him.

-Andre was the Dragomir heir. If his body had been dragged off, you can bet that everyone would have noticed instead of thinking that he was dead.

but don't you think rose would have recognised him? she did when he was a ghost so why not strigoi? and its kinda impossible that he could be a ghost and strigoi. Do strogoi even become ghosts? or do they just die?

I agree with the Strigoi being not quite dead and not quite alive. I also believe they are stuck in between the two world. I kinda hope.. { prediction for 5th book spoilerish if u havent read BP} the "cure" is rose traveling the the world of the dead and finding the souls and bringing it back.

Ths forum sparked something in my memory. rose realized that rhonda(fortune teller at court) said that dimitri would lose is soul. well masons ghost is his soul so maybe, just maybe she will be able to speak to dimitri's soul/ghost.

I like that idea. The only problem is Rose knows what Andre looks like so she would have recognized Nathan right away.

Perhaps instead of him being Andre, Nathan is the illegitimate sibling that was mentioned in SB. If this is the case then I hope he isn't really dead because then maybe Lissa could also save him like she did with Dimitri.
