I think that part of Rose didn't want to go after the Strigoi Dimitri but remember Dhampir Dimitri and learn more about him.

Rose is my favourite charector of all. She is brave, selfless, fierce, badass, caring. The sacrifices she makes for Lissa, giving up her life for her, that's amazing. I just love Rose. I can relate to her alot. Having to have to prove herself all the time must be hard but she just keeps going. The amount of love she has for both Lissa and Dimka is astounding. I wish people like that were real. I respect Rose so much. There isn't enough words to say stuff aout her with lol. I think it's great that for once it's a girl that saves the day. Rose not needing a "knight in shining armor" is good, although she does have one (aka Dimka). It's just great that the girl can kick ass herself. And to have normal teenage problems on top of Gaurdian and other problams Rose has makes it even better.
