Because Skygirl forfeits the rights to satisfaction, whenever she spams like a Spambot, allow me to make another point about this.

Had it not been for Rose, we can't be sure as to whether or not Lissa might survive on what happened during Shadow Kiss, so Lissa was right to ressurect her.

At the same time, had it not been for Lissa's decisions(in general...let's just try to pretend that the incident with the Lazars screwing everyone over didn't happen!) not only would Rose had stayed dead, but basically the Modern Moroi society would generally be figuratively(for all intents and purposes!) raped, no questions asked(before Sturgeon's law gets correctly applied on the societies' members who deserved to get targeted!) leaving humanity in general with the mess that the families of the Ancestors to the Modern Moroi created and that the Modern Moroi in general should be cleaning up, by now.

Let's just settle for regards that both would always be critical to their society's survival, regardless as to whether or not it deserves saving, agreed?

Spoiler:

So your thoughts, everyone?

Rose I think was trying to make Lissa happy. I think they were lucky they managed to stay alive and not run across any strigori. But if they had with little training Rose might not have come out of it unscathed. I gotta say though she is tough. But yes I dont think she was being very responsible. The right thing was to keep he within the confines of the school and protected.

Yeah, I think they would have been screwed had they been attacked by a strigoi they'd be goners but I do agree that is was the best desicion Rose could have made for bot her and Lissa. Lissa desperately needed to get away. Rose had to make a tough desicion without very much time. She did what she could.

With all the weird happenings barely alluded to, and slowly added to, we learn that some weird things were going on around Lissa. Was it the responsible thing to take Lissa, the last Dragomir, out in the world rather than try and get help from within the Moroi populace? And did Rose keep them safe by skill or happenstance? She mentions evading psyhounds (sp?) but we never learn how. And there was never a mention of Strigoi around (and we know that Dmitri beat her in sparring early on) so how would she have fared if they stumbled upon those killers?

Discuss!

I understand Rose's choice. She was Lissa's bf, so she wanted to protect her as a friend and guard. However she might have been able to act more rationally than she did.

This, Pretty much.

I am going to try to slam their society in general less frequently to the best of my abilities, right now.
