What do you guyd think about there being movies for Vampire Academy?
I don't think they should for very two good reasons.
1. If there is movie Vampire Acdemy will turn out like Twilight with everybody loving it when before nobody hardly even knew what Twilight was.
2. No famous person or anybody is good enough to play the characters in the book! People that they have been trying to play Rose, Dimitri or Mason are not good enough! They look nothing like how they say in the book.

But hopefully Richelle Mead doesn't make a movie.

But my question is do you agree?
If not why?

i agree they shouldn't make it a movie becusae its good as a book and they seem to be making every fantasy book a movie and not sending that much time on casting...and my vision of edward was ruined when robert pattinson was casted ewww. and no one could match dimitti in real life hehe.^^

I really hope the producers talk to the fans if and when they decide to make this series into movies.

but i think it should be made into a tv series
like on HBO
because the CAN NOT put every good detial in two hours of a movie
it just couldnt happen the movie would suck
but if they had a TV series for it then they would have alott more time to make it good .

I think VA would be a good movie or show I mean yeah its hard to find the perfect people to play them but I would love to see that world that I have in my head in front of me.

So if other people who didn't know about VA suddenly get acquainted with Richelle's universe and become fans... why would that be a bad thing? I think the fact that we came across these books first is pure luck and we shouldn't turn it into elitism. Let as many people as possible people learn about it, why should that affect me?

Secondly, yeah... The problem is every reader has his own vision on the characters and therefore we're gonna be pretty hard to please. For instance, everyone keeps picking Ben Barnes as Dimitri or Megan Fox as Rose, two choices that I personally find terrible. I'd rather have that dude in CassandraC440's signature as Dimitri, but not even that one is nearly as hot as how I picture D. But, still, I would love a movie/TV series. And although ShadowKissed is right and no famous actor would fit, maybe some less famous ones would actually work. We might even like it. And if we don't who cares? We still have the books.

I maintain that Henry Cavill *is* Dimitri. Ben Barnes be damned. He's too much of a weenie to be Dimitri anyway.

I think it will better if they not make this book into movie, even i love to imagine who's the best man or woman to be Dimitri and Rose.

No adaptions can be as good as the book, but I still would be interested if Vampire Academy was turned into a movie. It'd be fun watching it come alive.
