| Ouch! I hope you don't get it anymore! That would be horrible! 5 times last winter?! -- One more reason to hate the cold of winter. What school do you go to? (Your in college right?) If they did find whatever is so invincible in Moroi blood, how would they use it on humans? We aren't supposed to know that Moroi, Strigoi and Dhampirs exist... |

| | Quote: | | U know , i always wondered why the alchemists never tested Moroi Blood to find out what it is in the blood that gives them the resistance to illnesses and stuff... if they can isolate that factor.. they could save millions of human lives. Maybe it's just humans and moroi are so segregated that idea was never explored- but i would feel kinda of guilty- it's like have a cure for something and keeping if all to yourself. | They wouldn't do that though. Sydney said that the alchemists are afraid of Moroi/dhampirs/strigoi because they're unnatural. While they like having the power to get rid of strigoi, they'd prefer to be kept away from it altogether. So why would they want to put parts of the unnatural side of moroi into the normal/sane human beings? |

| I love the cold- as long as im inside under the blanket with a book to read :-)
I go to LaGuardia Community College- used to go to Hunter College but i down graded to Community College a year and half ago lol.
And i think Kim is right. I almost forgot about how the alchemists hate the " unnatural". That plus the secret world of vampires they probably wouldn't experiment... but there are always people willing to break taboos and break the rules and i'm hopeful for that hehe. |

| I don't like the cold but if you add a fire-place to the list then it isn't that bad...lol
I go to a school you probably have never heard of -- Hillsborough High School? Its not in the best part of town but I go for the I.B. Program.
Yeah... Kim is right. Sydney had issues with Rse because she is 'unnatural'. |

| What's the I.B. Program?
U know i was just browsing through BP and was wondering if Sydney hates being an alchemist so much how come she doesnt work to figure out a spell to undo the spell that's put into her tattoo? |

I don't think its a matter of attempting to get away, but recognising that they have a duty to stop other humans from coming across this "other" world |

| Not exactly related to 'charms' in molnija marks, but still on the topic of marks.
Richelle today on her twitter account was asking for Russian translations once again and settled on a name for the star shaped tattoo that Rose and the others got in SK for killing a whole heap of Strigoi
Zvezda: meaning Morning Star.
very cool in my opinion. |

| I seen that too, but i was more curious as to WHY is she only now defining that term. Why not before? It makes me think something, another battle or something, will happen where there will be a reassurance of the mark. |

| well I suspect the final book will have a big battle in it somewhere, so I guess it might come up somewhere along the line. |

| I don't think they had magic. I mean, what was mentioned about compulsion, to stay guardians... they don't need it. Besides, those who leave to become blood whores have been to school, right? But they're not guardians.. |

| It'd be kinda ironic if the Strigoi never cared about their Molnija Marks... It's kinda like: "Yeah, I've killed my own. Yeah, totally. Why would I wanna get rid of it? Oh, yeah..." *Goes to get the tattoo removed. *Ends up sucking the doctors blood cuz it's hungry. |
