They are so incredibly in sync. They think the same, they react the same and Dimitri is, like some of you pointed out earlier, the only one who can calm Rose down when she gets really upset.

I could feel Dimitri's surprise and pain when he saw the bitemarks on her neck. It must have felt awful, bringing back all the memories of him as a Strigoi...
No, I'd definitely say Dimitri is the one for Rose. Just as Rose is the one for Dimitri.
I like Adrian, he is my favourite along with Christian (after Dimitri that is). But he's not the guy for Rose. |
Well said, i was upset to when he bite her i thought that was kind of low...and who knows how that made dimitri felt. |

Rose really seems to be taking giant leaps backward in terms of development when she's with Adrian. I can't think of one positive thing Adrian has done for Rose by being in her life (so far he's pressured her into a relationship and bitten her). Dimitri is almost solely the reason for all of the growth Rose experienced in the first three books. He brought out so much good in her and helped her to understand so many things about herself, other people, the choices they make, and the lives they lead. He's the only one who sees her for who she is and can spotlight the best things about her. |

This is so true. Adrian being Adrian, not taking responsibility for anything really (not having to) or indeed taking anything seriously is definitely no good influence on Rose.
Dimitri really took her seriously and showed an incredible amount of patience. True, he admitted she was sometimes acting like a child, but he also admitted to the fact that she is so much younger than him. But as their training together progressed she also learned so much from him, so many things about love and life and in that single year she really went from being a child to becoming an adult. And all these things she learned - not so much from him preaching/teaching it to her, but from watching him, from studying him and the way he behaved and acted. He was the best possible role model for her.
I think that in the end Rose would probably grow tired of being with Adrian, with his carefree take on the world. I think Rose really needs to be with someone who can challenge her, both intellectually, physically and emotionally. Dimitri can do that. He knows her so well and he knows how to bring out her strength, the good traits in her.

| LOL, yeah, maybe. But what if Lissa's sibling is a girl and then Adrian falls for her? It'd be pretty sad for Jill, even though she still has a crush on Adrian while he's with Rose. Anyways, but like I said, what about Lissa's sibling? What happens between Dimitri and Rose? What about Tatiana's killer? Will Robert and Victor show up in LS? OMG I'm going crazy thinking about all the possibilities! I'm gonna hush now . . .   |

| 100% Dimtri. I think he is very good looking (from his description), intelligent, strong, loving, and so many other good qualities that make him and Rose a perfect match. Sonya said their auras are similar. Personally, I would love Dimitri for myself but, he is just a fictional character from a book. I feel sorry for Adrian. I liked Adrian but, he just didn't know Rose as well as Dimitri did. Dimitri and Rose were perfect together and in sync unlike Adrian and Rose. |

| It kinda goes both ways Danger wise would be Dimitri thats a no brainer. B/t Adrain keeps her feeling like a normal teenager. So i guess it depends on do u think rose should live a normal life or stay a Guardain.   |

| Dimitri is best for Rose.  I love Adrian  and I liked him and Rose together but at the end of it,I don’t think Rose could have ever loved Adrian the way he loved her. If she would have put her heart into this and really cared for him, they would have been great together. People call Adrian immature but I think that Rose started to change him for the better. She wanted him to be a better person and he tried his hardest to be that. Dimitri and Rose are almost the same person. I loved the contrast of Rose and Adrian. They are different in so many ways but that’s what made them a unique couple. Logically, Dimitri is the best choice for her because they both are the same kind of person. You can almost expect what will come from them, etc. Adrian and Rose are kind of like the odd couple that people don’t get but yet they do. Weird. |
