| I own Blood Promise. It sits on my shelf and I am hesitant to pick it up. I'm dying to know what happens to Rose and Dmitri. But then I know that as soon as I devour the book, it's another year wait. It's the same with the Van Alen Legacy from the Blue Bloods series.

| Ha- its understandable though. I for one never pick up a new series unless it's almost finished- just can't stand the waiting time between books.
I just picked up reading VA over the summer- so it's not that long of a wait for me for the next book- i have time to re-read and re-read as much as i want u know?
Or i simply pick up reading a long series in between waiting time for another series to distract myself. With VA it's even easier to wait because i'm in school and don't have much time for myself and reading unrelated school material.
Read it when your ready, but it's definitely worth the read! :gently pushes you towards your Blood Promise book: |

| After 2 yr waiting times for HP books 9 months for VA doesn't feel like a long time. Got plenty of books on my reading list to keep me distracted. |

The Van Allen Legacy is really good... You should read them, even if there is a long wait fot the others. The waitng period is the preiod in which I start new series so the wait seems less long...

Thats a good idea, but the wait makes me anticipate the books a little more... |

Finally I was able to buy it today but when i locked myself in my room with BP i found myself cringing away from it because i knew a. it's at least 4 months until SB and b. that Dimitri will be evil and not himself but half and hour later i'm reading it and can't put it down. I read loads of books in between waiting times to, right now i'm reading the Mortal Instruments and the Vampire Diaries. Does anyone watch the tv series? i think its better than i thought it would be. |

| You are all so rational. It never even occurs to me, putting off reading a book til it's closer to the release date. Lol I just go all 5 year old like "oh gimmie gimmie next booky! " Lol. |

| Well...I bought the book. I avoided it after Heath died in HoN and I couldn't stand any heart ache when Rose presumably killed Dmitri. When I was ready to read the book...it was gone! So I had to waitlist it at the library...I finally finished tonight. |
