I have one thing to say about the idea of 6 more novels...no, it wouldn't work well, unless the novels truly meant it if they are remotely better than the twilight sequels, and even then, they can't afford to destroy honest characterizations as badly as, if not worse than, twilight did, if they plan to do more novels.

On the other hand, V.A has better reasons for doing this than House of Night does[let alone twilight, unless Midnight Sun completed the Strigoni Benefici Vampire origin story!], albeit they have less motivations for existing than Cirque Du Freak's Spin-off series involving Mr. Crepsley would have.

Still...i have no intentions to take my chances, after Rose's story is done, unless i'm covinced the new stories are bound to be better than Midnight Sun or any of the Anita Blake books after the first 6, but before their latest tale, for that matter!

I want the series to at least be on par with Cirque Du Freak, already, in terms of story, cast, and plot, at least, is that wrong?

Its not really 6 more novels. ITs a spin off series. Which means it will be different. Same world- different plot. IT wont share much with VA except the world in which it exists in.

It means there are 8 books left (as in still to be written/released) in the series. Richelle has signed on for a total of 6 VA books (Rose's story) and then 6 more for the spin-off series about another character. This leaves 2 more books for Rose, and 6 books for this other character whom we've already met.
Read her blog posts from last year if you're still confused. She went into a lot of detail about her new contract with Razorbill.

At least i managed to find out for sure that Vampire Academy was planned before the Succubus series, somewhat, even though Succubus was released first, i think.

At any rate, i'd rather the spin-off be for either Christian, Eddie, or Lissa's P.O.V, if given a choice between those 3 and anyone else!

Rose and Company, together, made the novels bearable and meaningful for me, as each of them are fingers for a pair of human hands.

Lol, a few days ago RM did a live chat online and confirmed again that Eddie will be a major role in SB. I personally think the spin off might be about Eddie - or Christian - or Mia- or Jill- or Tasha... because i feel it will follow their revolutionary journey. It sucks she can't tell us WHO the stories will be about. frankly, i dont care if it gives away who ends up with up or who lives or dies. I just want to know. lol.

As of now- no movie. I don't know if i want a movie because i feel my imagination is better. lol

I just hope that it doesn't have to come to killing off all of Rose and Company, because unlike the two key groups in twilight who failed to save the series, Rose and Company cannot afford to get killed off, if it can be helped, and Can Be Helped!!!!
