| Yes. There is. And royals get priority for guardians. And since dhampirs are in limited supply, basically only royals get them. I wonder though if the guardian has a little bit of say? I know that Rose and Dimitri were talking about him getting assigned to someone at Court and that if Lissa went to school at Court that they could still see each other and the problem of putting their lover first wouldn't happen.
I think what we're doing is finding ways for things to work out for Rose and Dimitri. I really do hope that it does. |

| I think Adrian needs a "shadow-kissed" person so to say. I don't like his charecter, because it seems like he's to self distructive to get rid of it. Maybe some other outlet could be introduced to get him out of the self distruction. I can see the want to pair him with Lissa, but then I can see the want and need to stay with Christian (im a rebel in that sorts. lol)
Maybe, just maybe him might be able to get Rose. |

It's heavily implied that Adrian thinks that Rose is just trying to get a break from the Academy and mourn. Rose doesn't tell him where she's going, and Adrian says, "Maybe it's for the best if you leave. Maybe you'll get over him faster if you go away for a while."
I always thought it obvious that Adrian has no idea what Rose is thinking. He wasn't on the van going to Missoula, after all, and that's the only reason why Lissa figured it out. |

I agree with. Adrian seems like he can bee a nice guy but he really doesn't know Rose or understands about her being "shadowed-kissed." I really don't think that even though Rose will give him a chance that Adrian and Rose will have a serious relationship. I think they are better off as friends. |

| I don't think Rose loves Adrian. He might love her but I think she has affection for him but not the love and passion she obviously has for Dimitri |

There has to be this amazing twist to the story that will leave us breathless. Plus, Richelle knows that killing Dimitri would result in angry mobs with pitchforks and torches coming out to get her. She just wouldn't!
