When I first read about Adrian I though he was brought in for Lissa but thats not going to happen. I also don't think Rose and Adrian will happen. I just want Adrian to be happy. Maybe Jill. I got the feeling he's not that old from reading Spirit Bound. 20ish and Jill's a sophmore. Thats legal where I live.

I definitely don't see a Adrian and Jill relationship in the future. He's about 21/22 and she's 14/15. It may be legal where your from but in the US its not. And VA is mostly set in the US. She's just a kid, a baby compared to Adrian. besides he's kind of taken on a big brother type role with her. She may have a crush on him but he definitely doesn't see her that way. There is a reason why they call her jailbate.

Ok I just thought of why Dimitri wasn't fighting back!!! Remember in Blood Promise when he was touching the ring with spirit in it? He became close to himself again. The stake had spirit in it too. So when he was that close to it and being stabbed repeatedly by it he probably was extremely close to himself again. So I'm thinking maybe the dhampir Dimitri realized what was going on and didn't fight back. Plus I'm sure the fire helped a little.

Thats a really good point. And i guess im the only person that thinks adrian and rose are all wrong together. i mean, he has grown up a bit but she wants to be a guardian. she never planned on it lasting that long. And lets just say it, Rose and Dimitri are meant to be! Are you guys forgetting the very end where he stood up and tried to fight them all off to stay away from her saying stuff like I'll never let them get you! and then walking out of the court room she knew that if she so much as gave a symbol, he would get up and fight her away and run with her! i mean come on, she wishes she loved adrian enough, but its Dimitri. Its always been Dimitri. She knows he still loves her, and that is were the sacrifice will come in. Most of the other titles have been about Rose or Rose and Dimitri so i think its more likely one of them will make the sacrafice. I just dont like adrian with rose, thats like me leaving my fiancee whom i love for someone else bc they are more financially stable and i wouldnt have to worry about getting hurt.

That is not why she is with Adrian. She likes him she really does. Does she love him like she loves Dimitri? No, of course not. She never will. I never said I wanted her with Adrian over Dimitri. I've always said that if things do not work out with Dimitri, then Adrian would be good for her. And of course we all know Dimitri still loves her. He was staying away from her b/c of whathe did to her. He feels liek that is unforgivable and that she deserves better. He wants her to be safe. He loves her more than himself and that is why he was trying to stay away. I really do think that once he gets past those feelings, he'll come around. And just b/c he is trying to protect her right now doesn't mean he was making a statement that he wanted to be with her. He loves her and would do anything to protect her-which is why I believe he wants her to move on and stay away. I've posted my theories in the actual theaory thread for LS. I think between him and Abe they will break Rose out and set off on the journey to find Lissa's half-sibling. It will force them to be together and talk and they will get close again. Which will hopefully end Rose's story with them together again. I still hate to see Adrian get hurt.

You guys all have good points and i agree what you said wilda about if dimitri and rose can't be together (hopefully not) adrian would be a good second choice but he never protects her or anything she has to do everything kind of sad but then again he isnt a dhampir... i hope that dimitri and abe do break rose out and they talk that would be good.

Hell, I think the only person who can protect Rose-other than herself, is Dimitri. So if she were to get with anyone other than Dimitri she'd be the one doing the protecting which is just ass backwards lol

Dimitri thinks Rose and Adrian are doing it when they aren't. Thats going to complicate things more.
