Okay, so after Last Sacrifice there is going to be six more books about four different charcters, one of them is Sydney. Does anyone know anything else about it? Who do you think will be in them?

If it is Lissa's half sibling it would explain why Richelle's all hush hush about it.

I think Jill might be in the spin-off.
And perhaps Adrian, he and Sydney could make a good couple. I would really like to see him happy, if Rose gets her happy ending with Dimitri.

Adrian and Sydney- I've never thought of those 2 together.

It says on Richelle's official website that the spin-off will be about the secondary characters. I don't think Richelle has officially announced who will be the lead character, but my guess it it will be either Jill or Mia. The main characters in the current VA series will also be in the spin-off series, but only as secondary characters. I think it would be really interesting to see Mia's life at court. I think if it were to focus more on Jill than the series would be closer to a repeat of the original series.

Did Richelle hint when it would come out?

Adrian and Sydney would never would. Sydney may like Rose but I can't see her liking a Moroi enough to get romantically involved with one.

As for when to expect the spin off series, this is what Richelle's site says in the VA Book section

Last Sacrifice will be the last book about Rose, but it'll be followed by a spin-off series still set in the Vampire Academy world. Side characters we know from the current series will now be our main characters, and there'll be a whole new storyline (not the last one told from a different perspective). So far, there is no title or release date info for the new series. Expect it in 2012.

These are my guesses as to who they could be about if none of them die in LS.

Sydney (RM already stated that much), Mia, Eddie (wishful thinking), and possibly Lissa's sibling which never occurred to me until I read it on here.

Did read that Rose will have cameos somewhere.

I think the spin-off series might be about Jill or Sydney as has already been said. I also think there is a small possibility of it being about Janine Hathaway or maybe about another gaurdian Rose has taken a kind of important part in Roses life. Hopefully Rose will take a part, no matter how small, in these spin-off series, I've heard that she will so... I do not think Sydney or Adrian would ever get together. Seeing as Sydney thinks all vampires are evil and Adrian being a royal Moroi, even though he's one of the better one and their personalities clash as well. Adrian might, maybe, get with Mia I think. I can't think of anything else right now lol. I'm tired.

It's confirmed that it'll be about Sydney, Jill and Eddie, as well as 'a love interest from VA' which Richelle doesn't want to reveal because she doesn't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read Last Sacrifice. That sounds like Adrian to me.
