here is the pattern i see, most of what the Moroi/Dhampir community and/or Rose believe in, is proven wrong, these are my points...
*At first they didn't´t believe in the bond between Rose and Lissa
*They hadn't really known or understood spirit until Lissa came out, they just thought she (and the others) wouldn't specialize
* They thought that no student could get out of school, meanwhile Rose and Lissa managed to stay away for two years
* They have these ideas about the ¨blood whore¨ communities and as Dimitri said, not everyone is like that
* They had, or at least Rose had the idea that all Dhampir men became Guardians, even though Ambrose was a blood whore
* The inmortal debate of ¨should Moroi´s fight and use their powers¨ when at some point they did, they just got ¨lazy¨ when there wasn't much to worry about. BUT they didn't have much to worry about since they were fighting along with the Guardians and got rid of a lot of Strigoi. but when they decided it was safe and stopped fighting , guess what? the Strigoi came back.
* It turns out that using Novices and Moroi magic is extremely useful.
* They also believe that Strigoi couldn't work together, for their evil doings.
* And that humans wouldn't help them.
* And that their wards couln´t be penetrated
* Everyone thinks Christian and Tasha are evil because of his parents, and up until now we haven't seen them in any wrong doings.
* They always thought Victor was an OK dude, until they realize he was a slimy kidnapper
* Ghost don't exist. but we still saw Mason. Even if he isn't a ghost, he was something no one has ever seen or even heard of.
* Dimitri and Rose couldn't find a way for them to be happy and together. Until Dimitri did. He managed to to find a scenario in which he and Rose would be together and not risk Lissa
So the pattern here is, they keep being wrong. So why cant they be wrong about Strigoi? at least on in particular.
Rose has shown that she is more powerful than everyone thought. So why can´t Dimitri´s love for Rose, or the love of being a Guardian, or love of doing the right thing, or all of them put together, be so powerful it can over throw the evilness of being Strigoi.
Maybe he did change into Strigoi, but didn't loose his humanity, and somehow finds a way to live in a not bad Strigoi way, why can´t there be good Strigoi? they only really need blood to survive, they don´t NEED to kill.
Maybe only the Strigoi who wanted to change are evil.
we never really saw the difference between the ones who turned by choice and the ones who didn't have a choice. or is there even a difference?
since no one has explored the Strigoi lifestyle, we don´t have actual facts, just speculation of what they are. Just like the communities of Dhampir mothers, they just think they are ALL blood whores, while someone who actually lived there, would say that there are exceptions, so why cant there be an exception in Strigoi?
I also think that the whole ¨he´s my other half¨ thing will play into this in some way.
well thats a lot of ranting i came up with at 4 o´clock in the morning, but i think thats it.
so what do you guys think? think my theory has a a chance? or will it also be proven wrong? XD
