Here's a bizzare question...
Remember in VA when Dimitri told Rose that he beat up his father for hitting his mother? But we never read who is father was. Also, in SB, Dimitri knew who Abe was and warned Rose to stay away from him but D never said why. What if Abe is D father too? Abe got around. That would be a huge twist. Also, while in prison. D probably heard that Abe is Rose's dad, so maybe that's why he is pushing Rose away-besause he is her half-brother?? just a crazy thought.

Remember in the first book he said his father was a royal. It can't be Abe because he isn't a royal. I thought of that too and then remembered that. God that would have sucked though. He would have done it with his half sister. Yuck!

I don't think an incest storyline is in the cards for Vampire Academy. Richelle is very clearly setting up for Rose and Dimitri to get back together at the end in the last book. Making Rose and Dimitri siblings would be the worst possible conclusion to Rose's story. I doubt we'll ever find out who Dimitri's father is since his family has not been very relevant to the plot. Richelle even said they are not in Last Sacrifice.
