The reason why I consider it to be not only my favorite but also the most defining line of the book is because Rose has been and in so many ways, is a hero but she has done a lot of things at the expense of others and their feelings.

I like her but I do think that the affect she has had on the lives outside of Lissa and Dimitri has been rather negative or life changing in ways that might not be good for that said person.

Adrians line was great because it spoke for him but could also speak for those who helped Rose.

People who loved and believed in her but got the bad end of the stick while Rose went on to live happily ever after. She means well but at the end of the day, her life is just about her, Dimitri and Lissa.

I never had a favorite quote, but PrettyLittleLiar now that you bring that one up. I love it so much. But, I think I am slightly bias here seeing as Adrian is my favorite character out of the whole series. I feel the need to re-read the whole series and pick out my favorite quotes from each book now.
