lol If you cut out every use of the words "dazzling" "murmuring" "marble" and "Edward", there IS no book. |
That's completely true. Stephenie really should have stuck to her original plan with the series just being two books. New Moon and Eclipse were really not needed at all. They only prolonged the predictable ending. |

| I know that last sacrifice will be really good so im glad that it will be 600 pages. SM did add too much discription to the twilight books and thats why i dont like that series that much. But i do like The Host by her. it's like my favorite book that is not a series. I find it much more entertaining than i did the Twilight sega.. |

| You guys are cracking me up. I completely agree about BD. I thought if I have to read dazzling one more time I'm going to have to put the book down. I loved Ecllipse, but could have done without parts of BD. I did not care for the whole baby storyline. I thought there would be a pay off at the end with the big battle scene, but I was disappointed there too.
Vampire Academy books always leave me wanting more. I just hope all of my questions get answered and all the plots get resolved by the end. 600 pages sounds good to me. |

Yes BD was long and boring .. When I read the book I read all the first part (Bella) then I see "Jacob Book" and I skipped all that book a went directly till Bella again.. time later when I read a fanfiction I found that the Jacob book isn't a side story but part of the BD book..hahaha.. I laughed at myself for been so stupid to skip 1/3 of the book...
But I liked HP 7 , because after all the theories and expeculation in blogs, fanfiction, etc.. all were proven wrong and JK Rowling created a whole new plot to put together all the pieces in the first books and gave us a great long and enjoyable ending... each HP book is longer than the precedent and I enjoyed all of them!!!
I think LS will be that long because there will be a long journey : "escape and/or prove Rose inocence" - "find Lissa's sister/brother" - "changes in the council/laws" - "happy romantic endings", the previous books occurs in a short space of time only a few months... for the journey in LS more space time is required!!

HP 7 was a really good last book. I think most books end pretty well. Twilight is the exception.
How Twilight should've been concluded. At the end of Eclipse there should've been a wedding. Then there should've been an epilogue occuring years later where SM could've told us about Nessie (and her being with Jacob {its still seems weird to me}) and everyone living happily ever after. She finished BD in a weird place.

For me, Jacob imprinting on Renesmee was one of the things that ruined Breaking Dawn. Jacob should have imprinted on Leah. The Renesmee/Jacob pairing just felt more like Stephenie's attempt to give Bella everything she wanted. Bella was able to become a vampire without making any of the sacrifices Stephenie emphasized numerous times would happen in every single book. I consider establishing rules you don't intend to follow through on to be pretty poor writing.
And with Renesmee, I didn't really have an issue with Bella and Edward having a child. I just didn't like how that plot was completely out of left field. Bella (and Edward) never gave any indication that she wanted to have a child. Personally, I think the Breaking Dawn would have been far better if Stephenie had gave it more of an open ending by concluding it with Bella and Edward's wedding so the readers could make up their own story as to happened to the characters after. |
