I'm happy with the idea of Adrian and Sydney together. I like the idea of Adrian getting another chance at love. I was so sad that he wasn't happy at the end of LS, but at the same time I couldn't be upset with Rose ending up with Dimitri.
I was talking with a friend about Adrian just yesterday, and how we both reckon we'll fall madly in love with him in bloodline (even though he was the competition in VA) because he'll be the main focus and there'll be no guilt over wanting him out of the way because we wanted Rose and Dimtiri to be together. So I'm perfectly happy with A/S

I'm also using the cover as my avatar today, and to answer a few questions, yup--that's Sydney in there. You can spot her by the tattoo. The guy is the spurned love interest from Last Sacrifice, which I'm being enigmatic about simply because talking too much about him gives away the ending of that book. There are still lots who haven't read it, so we'll hold out a little longer. There are other characters in Bloodlines that I've mentioned before, like Eddie and Jill, but if you crowd too many on the cover there, it starts to look like an Olan Mills family photo shoot. (Are they even around anymore?). So, we just kept these two, but other characters will rotate through on other covers, I'm sure.


However, it doesn't mean Adrian and Sydney will be love interests. They maybe the primary focus of this book. The next covers could have Jill or Eddie on it.

OMG i dont know how i missed seeing the cover. I think its brilliant. I love the cover. And i think it's Adrian. And i think Adrian and Sydney will hook up , yes i do. :-)

i really hopes its adrian and eddies and jill in there i hope mias in there to do you reckon lissa and christian will be in it since jill and lissa are sisters and all i really want to hear more from them but whos Perspective will it be in sydneys im guessing but if it has all of them in it will they change perspectives like HON?

but richelle hasnt done that so far with rose unless you include threw lissa's head so i doubt she will in BL but if so who will it be or will it just be about them and not one of them telling the story?

Richelle has stated before that Sydney is the narrator. Also I saw a comment on her blog where RM said that Bloodlines will be in 1st person pov.

Reading VA i got this feeling of similarity between rose and sydney. they both were young badasses that sometimes made bad decision that gets them into trouble but they come from a good place. You have to admit they are both stubborn natured, and really good at what they do. So it's not so far fetched to think that Adrian might fall for sydney. I think it will be an interesting development seeing as Sydney doesn't hink highly or dhampirs especially moroi, so her falling for the forbidden would make a great story line. She obviously slowly warmed up to rose, one step closer to coming out of her box. Two people from two rival worlds coming together (romeo and juliet syndrome) These are the love interests that richelle writes about in all her books. Two dhampirs was frowned upon, Georgina and human seth, Eugene and her fairy/nemisis counterpart Dorian. I believe all signs pointing to adrian makes perfect sense, especially with all the clues already given. This is another series and I think through out the books we are going to warm up to the idea and by the end we will be rooting for them. I'm sure Ian will provide a bit of a rival and love triangle through out, but the end result will be Adrian and Sydney. We all know Adrian likes to stirr things up by falling for the wrong girls, he goes against the norm, that's how he rolls. Plus I thionk sydney will be tough enough to set Adrian straight with his carless drinking problem, she seems the type that can have that affect on people.
